The Epoch Neutron cards adopt an all new form factor, allowing for integration into a wide range of chassis. The low profile, half height form factor allows both cards to be installed into low profile servers, small form factor (SFF) computers, and low profile Thunderbolt expansion chassis. Full height shield options allow for integration in more traditional workstation computers and provide additional I/O requirements like AES/EBU, RS422 machine control, and domestic analogue audio monitoring.Epoch Neutron cards are fitted with 3x industry standard BNC connectors enabling two simultaneous streams of 2K/HD/SD including video fill+key operations. Each SDI connector is programmable as input or output. The Epoch | Neutron supports 1.5G SDI I/O and the Epoch | 4K Neutron extends the support to 3G SDI I/O enabling 4K 60p I/O configurations.

Ingest and Store multiple SDI streams, recording directly to Uncompressed, and/or AVID compatible DNxHD Media files.Utilising only an SDI video cable INGESTORE enables workstation computers to capture uncompressed and AVID compatible DNxHD media with minimum operator intervention. Fluid INGESTORE harnesses the power of all Bluefish444 video cards.

Apantac NEW Multiviewers and Signal Processing - Booth N6006

Apantac, provider of cost-effective multiviewers, video walls, extenders, and signal processing solutions is launching its new T# - T Sharp Multiviewers at NAB 2015, booth N6006.

The T# multiviewer is based on a revolutionary modular architecture from Apantac. Three frame sizes (1RU, 2RU, 4RU) and 16 pre-configured models are available. The pre-configured models can be easily expanded by adding additional input or output boards. All boards are hot swappable and interchangeable between all three frame sizes. One of the most important new features in the T# Multiviewer series is that all input sources can be duplicated up to 64 times (on a single display) and any input is available to any output. This modular architecture concept ensures a future-proof Multiviewer solution for Broadcasters and professional AV facilities.

When fully populated (using the largest frame), the hardware accommodates eight input boards, each with up to eight video inputs supported, for a total of 64 3G/HD/SD-SDI and Composite Video inputs. T# is also built with 4K/UHD in mind. For 4K/US support, simply combine four 3G-SDI BNCs as a single 4K/UHD input. For each SDI input, 16 channels of embedded audio is supported, and can be decoded to display as on-screen audio meters. Two output boards with four outputs each provide a total of eight outputs per chassis. Output board format support includes: Fiber, SDI, HDMI, HDMI extenders, and HDBaseT extenders.

T# supports output resolutions up to 1920x1200 including 1080P. In addition, T# is 4K/UHD output ready. To support an expanded range of input formats, Apantac has both HDMI and IP input boards on their short-term product road-map.

As with all other Apantac TAHOMA Multiviewers, T# supports 3rd party routers and production switchers, utilizes a flexible and simple skin technology that allows users to customize their on-screen display of graphics including; borders, labels, fonts, tally LEDs, clock faces, logos, embedded audio, discrete audio meters and audio / video alarms. Video windows on the display may include multiple labels, and support UMD, OMD, IMD and standalone labels.

The new T# Multiviewers will be demonstrated at Apantac’s NAB 2015 booth N6006. Apantac will also show their openGear platform featuring the OG-MiNI-Q
Cascadable Video Quad Split.
